American rapper Flo Rida has been charged with drink-driving after being arrested in Miami, Florida.
The star, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, was twice over the legal limit according to a police report.
After failing to walk a straight line he said: "I can't do this. I don't feel I can walk a straight line. I had a few drinks. Let's try another test."
He added: "I live on the other side of the bridge. I can make it home."
A large crowd gathered at the scene and tried to persuade
police officers to let him go, with one fan even offering to drive him home.
The 31-year-old was released on $2,000 (£1,228) bail after a judge signed an order allowing him to fly to Thailand on Thursday where he has concerts scheduled.
He was charged with driving under the influence and driving with a suspended licence after failing to pay a traffic ticket.
Flo Rida's debut single Low, from the album Mail On Sunday, got to number one in the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
