Tons of new Arcade Fire news. The band is currently in Los Angeles for tonight’s Grammys – their third LP The Suburbs is nominated for three awards including Album of the Year – and will also be performing. While in L.A., the Montreal ensemble stopped into local radio station KROQ and played two acoustic sessions including “Month Of May” and “Ready To Start.” Both cuts are dynamic and equally exhilarating, showing the world the true meaning of “live.”
Also, (thanks to CoS for the heads up) Spike Jonze’ short film,Scenes From The Suburbs, (a continuation from “The Suburbs” video he directed) will debut tomorrow. Check out videos for both live sessions below.
