Video: Cults – “Abducted”

Cults

A couple weeks ago, we posted a new track from New York up and coming duo Cults called “Abducted,” and reiterated how excited we were for their debut LP to drop as we’ve been watching their actions for a year now.
There is now an unofficial video for the more immediate rock tune floating among the blogosphere, which takes footage from the 1967 film Anna (directed by Pierre Koralnik) and syncs it to the song, which works out quite nicely.
The video is robust and vibrant to say the least, thanks to the awesome fashion sense of that era and the numerous dance sequences that take place. Watch the video below.
Update: Cults have now released an official video for “Abducted,” showing off the spoils of signing to a label like Columbia for their first run through. Cults finally comes out June 7th.
