FlashBack! - Outlaws - Green Grass and High Tides: Best of (album stream)


Purely by coincidence, my folks and us children were visiting my grandparents in Europe, I saw these guys at Pinkpop festival in Geleen (Netherlands), in 1976, and I was immediately blown away and hooked. Those dual guitar solos are just irresistable. We actually went there to see Uriah Heep, but that turned out to be the biggest disappointment ever! That is still one of the most grotesque live performances I've ever seen/heard. Also there on that day; Little Feat, Streetwalkers, Chieftains, Jess Roden Band and Sido Martens. I remember it was a hot and sunny day, the perfect circumstances for a good shot of Southern Rock! I was still too young to drink, so... :)

The Best of the Outlaws: Green Grass and High Tides is a 16-track compilation album by American southern rock band Outlaws, released in 1996 featuring all their major hits, including the Rock Band-featured Southern Rock epic "Green Grass and High Tides."
