Some people don't give a [*expletive*] about sophisticated sound or production techniques, or months of recording sessions. They prefer it raw, rough and real.
The debut album of Bostonian band Drummers is a good example.
The interesting part of running this blog is that at times I bump into things that really put a smile on my face, at other times it's more of a frown. I'll let you be the final judge. After all I'm not running this blog for my own listening pleasure. It's OK to NOT like something. At least you have had the opportunity to listen to it yourself and form your own opinion. YOUR ears are always right! Instead of just accepting some blogger's or magazine's opinion as gospel. And yes, it's still Hip To Be Square!
